What B&W modes are available?

Four modes: Grayscale (standard luminosity 0.299R+0.587G+0.114B), Threshold (1-bit pure black & white with an adjustable 0–255 cutoff), High-Contrast (grayscale with a contrast boost), and Sepia (warm vintage monochrome using the standard sepia matrix).

How does the contrast slider work?

The contrast slider (0–200%) applies the formula newVal = clamp((val − 128) × contrastFactor + 128) to every effect pixel, where contrastFactor = contrast/100. At 100% there is no change. At 0% everything flattens to mid-gray (128). At 200% you get extreme contrast.

Can I partially desaturate?

Yes. The intensity slider (0–100%) blends between your original color image (0%) and the full B&W effect (100%). At 50% you get a muted look; at 100% you get the complete effect.

Does my image leave my device?

No. All processing happens in your browser using the Canvas API. Your image is never uploaded to any server. For safety on very large images, the output canvas is capped at 4096px on the longer side.
