All 6 Frequencies

Enter your pay in any one frequency (hourly, daily, weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, annual) and instantly see the equivalent in all six — no separate calculations needed.

Hours per Week

Adjust hours per week (default 40) to accurately convert hourly wages to annual salary, including part-time and overtime scenarios.

Bi-Weekly Aware

Knows that bi-weekly = 26 paychecks/year (not 24) and that monthly = annual ÷ 12. Most pay-converter tools miss this detail and over- or under-count your paychecks.

Take-Home Pay

Set an effective tax rate (default 22% US federal-average) and see estimated take-home pay annually, monthly, weekly, and hourly after tax.

How is hourly wage converted to annual salary?

Annual = hourly × hoursPerWeek × 52. For example, $30/hr × 40 hr/wk × 52 wk = $62,400/yr. The 52-week year assumes you are paid for 52 weeks of work (no unpaid leave).

Why is bi-weekly calculated as annual ÷ 26?

There are 52 weeks in a year, and bi-weekly paychecks arrive every 2 weeks, so 52 ÷ 2 = 26 paychecks per year. Many calculators incorrectly divide monthly by 2 (which would only give 24 paychecks). This tool uses the correct 26-paycheck convention.

How is daily rate computed?

Daily rate = annual ÷ ((hoursPerWeek ÷ 8) × 52), where 8 is assumed hours per workday. So for a 40-hour week: days/week = 5, days/year = 260. Daily rate = annual ÷ 260.

How accurate is the take-home pay figure?

It uses a simple flat tax-rate model: take-home = annual × (1 − taxRate/100). Real take-home depends on federal brackets, state tax, FICA, deductions, and credits — so this is an estimate, not tax advice. Adjust the rate up or down to match your real paystub.
