The tool loads each PDF you add using the pdf-lib JavaScript library. It creates a new empty PDF, copies all pages from each file in the order you set, and saves the result as one combined PDF. Nothing is sent to a server.

Can I reorder the PDFs before merging?

How many PDFs can I merge at once?
There is no fixed limit. The limit is your device memory. Most phones and laptops can merge 20 to 50 PDFs at once. Very large or many large PDFs may take longer or use a lot of memory.
Does merging reduce PDF quality?
No. Merging copies the pages as-is. The text, fonts, and images in each PDF stay exactly the same in the merged file. There is no recompression or quality loss.
Can I merge password-protected PDFs?
No. The tool cannot open password-protected PDFs. Remove the password in your PDF reader first, save a copy without a password, and then merge that copy here.
