How does the PDF organizer work?
The tool loads your PDF in your browser using pdfjs-dist to render page thumbnails. You drag thumbnails to reorder, click rotate to turn a page 90° clockwise, and click X to delete a page. When you click Organize and Download, pdf-lib rebuilds the PDF in the new order with the rotations applied and the deleted pages removed. Nothing is sent to a server.
Is my PDF uploaded to a server?
No. Your PDF never leaves your device. All thumbnail rendering and PDF rebuilding happens inside your browser using pdfjs-dist and pdf-lib. There is no upload, no server copy, no tracking. 100% private.
Can I reorder pages?
Yes. Each page thumbnail is a draggable card. Drag a thumbnail left or right to a new position. The page numbers update automatically. You can reorder a few pages or sort the whole document. The new order is saved in the downloaded PDF.
Can I rotate only some pages?
Yes. Each thumbnail has a rotate button. Click it to turn that page 90° clockwise. Click again to turn 180°. Click three times to turn 270° (which is 90° counterclockwise). You can rotate one page or many — each page keeps its own rotation.
Can I delete pages I do not need?
Yes. Each thumbnail has an X button. Click it to remove that page from the new PDF. The original file on your device is not changed — you can re-upload the original any time. The download only contains the pages you kept.
What is the maximum number of pages?
The tool can handle most PDFs. For very large PDFs (50+ pages), thumbnails may take a few seconds to render because each page is drawn on a canvas. The limit is your device memory. Most phones and laptops can organize PDFs up to about 50 pages without trouble.
Can I organize a password-protected PDF?
No. The tool cannot open or read password-protected PDFs. Remove the password in your PDF reader first, save a copy without a password, and then organize that copy here.
