Daily + Weekly Hours
Enter start/end times and break minutes for each of the 7 days. The calculator instantly returns daily hours and the weekly total, with overnight-shift handling built in.
Regular + Overtime
Weekly hours are split into regular (up to 40h) and overtime (everything above 40h). The overtime multiplier defaults to 1.5× but is fully adjustable.
Overnight Shifts
If end time is earlier than start time the calculator automatically treats the shift as crossing midnight — e.g. 22:00 → 06:00 = 8 hours, not negative 16.
100% Private
Your timesheet stays in your browser. No clock data is uploaded, no signup, no daily limit. Copy your final timesheet to paste into payroll or invoice software.
How are daily hours calculated?
For each day: hours = (end − start − break) / 60. The start and end times come from native time inputs (HH:MM). Break minutes are subtracted before dividing by 60. If either time is left blank, that day counts as 0 hours (a day off).
How are overnight shifts handled?
If the end time is earlier than the start time, the calculator assumes the shift crossed midnight and adds 24 hours to the end. For example, a 22:00 → 06:00 shift with no break = (6 + 24 − 22) hours = 8 hours. The row is marked with an overnight indicator.
What counts as overtime?
By default, anything above 40 hours in the week is overtime. The calculator splits total hours into regular (≤ 40) and overtime (> 40). The overtime multiplier defaults to 1.5× but you can change it (e.g. 2.0 for double time) or uncheck the box to pay everything at straight time.
How is gross pay computed?
With overtime enabled: pay = regular × rate + overtime × rate × multiplier (default 1.5). With the "Apply overtime multiplier" box unchecked, all hours are paid at the straight rate: pay = total × rate. Use whichever matches your employer's policy.
Can I copy the timesheet?
Yes — the Copy button produces a plain-text weekly summary (day-by-day hours + totals + gross pay) that you can paste into an email, payroll system, or invoice. The summary includes overnight markers and the OT multiplier used.
